With over 40 years of experience wielding the guitar, I am a seasoned musician deeply rooted in the world of metal. My journey began in the early ‘80s, and since then, I’ve honed my craft across multiple instruments, including drums and bass guitar, allowing me to contribute dynamically to any musical ensemble.
Expertise
Playing
Specializing in guitar, my playing style is characterized by aggressive riffs, intricate solos, and a relentless pursuit of sonic intensity. My versatility across instruments enables me to understand and integrate the rhythmic and melodic components essential to the genre.
Beyond performance, I possess a comprehensive understanding of recording techniques. From analog roots to modern digital setups, I have navigated the evolving landscape of music production, ensuring that each track captures the raw energy and precision that metal demands.
Teaching
In addition to performing, I’ve shared my knowledge through informal guitar instruction over the years. Many of the students I’ve mentored have gone on to become seasoned musicians themselves, a testament to the guidance and inspiration I’ve provided.
As of late
However, after the loss of my spouse, I took a step back from music for the past 10 years. During this time, I focused on healing and personal growth. I hope one day I return but till then I bring with me a renewed perspective and a deeper emotional connection to my digital art.
